Vinyl plank flooring installation

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is waterproof, quiet underfoot and stands up to sand, pets and Florida humidity. We install it in single rooms, whole homes and condos.

What’s included

  • Old flooring removed and hauled away
  • Slab checked and leveled where needed
  • Underlayment when your plank calls for it
  • Baseboard or quarter-round, transitions and thresholds
  • Closets, cabinets, columns and door jambs cut in neatly

Why vinyl plank suits Florida slabs

Most homes here sit on concrete, and concrete carries moisture. Rigid-core vinyl doesn’t swell the way laminate and wood can, which makes it the safe pick for kitchens, baths and ground floors.

A flat floor comes first

Clicking, gaps and lifted seams almost always trace back to an uneven slab. We check the floor with a straightedge and level the low spots before the first plank goes down.

Click-lock or glue-down

Floating click-lock plank works for most homes. Glue-down is the better choice for stairs, some condos and busy commercial spaces.

Questions people ask

Can you install flooring I already bought?

Yes. Many of our customers buy their plank at Floor & Decor, Lowe’s, Home Depot or a flooring warehouse and hire us for the install. If you haven’t bought yet, we’ll tell you how much to order and what trim and stair nose you’ll need.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the square footage, what has to come out first, and how flat the floor is underneath. Text us a few photos and rough room sizes and we’ll send a written quote with removal, prep, trim and stairs priced line by line.

Do you take out the old floor?

Yes: carpet, tile, laminate and glued-down vinyl, and we haul it away. Removal is listed on its own line in your quote so you can see what it costs.

How long does a whole-home install take?

A bedroom is usually a one-day job. Most whole homes take a few days depending on size, removal and leveling. Your quote includes the schedule.

Do I need to move my furniture?

Rooms need to be clear on install day. Tell us what’s in the rooms when you ask for a quote and we’ll let you know what we can move for you.
